AuraPod AI addresses the global stress epidemic by creating an intelligent system that makes any space emotionally responsive. Built on 96 peer-reviewed clinical studies across four sensory domains, the project combines speech analysis, PAD (Pleasure-Arousal-Dominance) emotional classification, and multimodal AI to detect a user's emotional state through tone, cadence, and verbal input. The system then generates personalized 5-minute regulation experiences using synchronized light gradients, soundscapes, aromatherapy, and guided breathing patterns. Unlike generic wellness pods or screen-based apps, AuraPod's intelligence lives in software—enabling deployment across corporate offices, hospitals, universities, and airports through a B2B2C model. The AI continuously learns from biometric feedback and user preferences, adapting sensory blueprints to maximize psychophysiological recovery. This thesis demonstrates how human-AI interaction can shift from cognitive tasks to somatic care, using technology to support nervous system regulation rather than further stimulation.
