Calm Accessories
This project explores wearable relaxation through auricular acupressure, body awareness, tactile interaction, and invisible technology. In today's wearable culture dominated by health data and continuous tracking, information overload can also create stress and anxiety. In response, the project proposes a gentler, more intuitive approach to wellbeing that returns to body awareness instead of relying on screens or data. Inspired by auricular acupressure therapy, the project takes the form of modular, non-piercing ear pieces with detachable pressure tips that target acupressure points associated with emotional regulation and stress relief. Developed through consultation with a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, the project explores "invisible technology" that naturally integrates into everyday life, bridging jewelry and wearable technology through touch, pressure, and subtle vibration.
