## Reto We seem to be more divided than ever. people live in their own social media bubble where they only get content that fits their opinion. this makes them come across unexpected views less often, which is a pity. we think it’s good to hear something you’re not used to. just to learn A new thing or experience an opinion you haven’t heard before. that’s why we created collective atlas — is the online-magazine Showing how much you could have in common with someone from the other side of the globe. collective atlas is created for people who want to feel more connected to others around the earth. and by “connection” we don’t mean the fake social-media kind built on envy, self-doubt, and performative consumerism. we mean the feeling you get when you realise that someone on the other side of the planet have similar tastes, reads the same books, or celebrates important moments in a strangely familiar way. we are not interested in defining the “right” or “wrong” way to live. instead, we tell stories about ordinary things like objects, common rituals and social expressions. Building two parallel narratives in every issue where you can choose what to read — stories created by our editorial team or submissions shared by readers from all over the world. we invite you to share your experiences, observations, and interpretations of the world around you — not to argue, but to create a conversation together.
