Fossil of Events Turning discarded brochures into lasting material memory This project explores museum brochures as materials that hold evidence of temporary events. Through collecting, layering, and compressing, discarded brochures are transformed into a "fossil of events" that preserves time within the material itself. Each layer holds memories, forming a continuous record of past moments. The outcome is a set of stools placed back in the museum as a sit-and-read space, connecting material, use and place, and turning something temporary into something lasting and meaningful.
